"Bird Pond" Collection Story

Insects, frogs, birds, ducks, swans and the creatures that live around the pond work busily to make it a welcoming home.

Even the smallest, most insignificant occurrences in nature are necessary to someone living in the pond.

As the days get shorter and it gets colder, everything slows down and preparations for winter begin.

The leaves begin to turn red and yellow and fall in the wind.
When winter comes, the ground is covered in white snow, casting blue shadows on top.
The red berries add a touch of Christmas color to the winter-hibernated landscape.

The Bird Pond collection was inspired by life around a pond throughout the fall and winter. The easy-to-use colors and vibrant, small patterns will bring your patchwork and applique projects to life. The selection of solid colors in soft hues will work well as a patchwork background, and the assortment of dots will work well with Tilda fabrics, making patchwork and handcrafting more fun and fresh.
